JA himself is a teetotaler who gets himself high through art, and his hand-embroidered artwork is particularly delirium-inducing. Inspired by the designs of the counterculture from the 60s - crazy, colorful tins with sparkling gold.

Jonathan Adler collaborates with a craft workshop in India for his exceptional murals, where beaded embroiderers infuse his clean graphic designs with craftsmanship and soul. Each piece of art is hand-wound on linen and takes nearly 100 hours to create. Beads of different heights and patterns within patterns create a sense of depth and dimension. The result is part pop art, part textile triumph. Stretched on a linen ground floating in a gallery-quality wirebrushed black frame.
